As already mentioned, I'm currently a senior at Columbia College Chicago majoring in journalism with a concentration in sports. Throughout my journalism path, I've gained experience and knowledge in journalistic practices such as writing, radio, interviewing and reporting. Also, with the growing innovations in technology, I've developed skills in the mobile journalism field to build my portfolio. My experience in such social media applications like Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Google+, Pinterest, Instagram and Tumblr will contribute to becoming a successful journalist. Mobile journalism can be used to cover any story, and I hope my experience in this field will help lead me to my dream job which is becoming a beat writer for a Chicago sports team.
